Mirrors 2: Straight to DVD as people walking out of the cinema can cause embarrassment.
Technically this film was excellent with some really nice gore and… well there WAS some nice gore. Otherwise the movie is a total mess. The guy that played John Conner in Terminator 3 (remember that?) stars as “bloke who can see things in mirrors” add in a totally unneeded link to the original, very poor pacing, poor plotting and a laughable story and you have a clusterfuck of a movie.
Taking is cue from Final Destination Mirrors 2 preshadows all the deaths for no explained reason.
In fact most of this film is unexplained, including why the “department store” had nothing for sale and why exactly there was even a need to use one of the mirrors from the original mayflower store (which oddly enough looked like a store?) It also failed to explain why the antique double sided mirror from a burnt out store looked so new and pristine.
Really what I am trying to say is that when a film only manages to provoke the thought “are we there yet” then something is wrong. This truly is a theatre walker, proving again that straight to DVD really means “too poor for the cinema”
Save your money and time. AVOID.
Oooh i forgot to mention… TITTAYS!!!!!! Carry on.
