Lost plane crash Physics

I'm bored and I've just realized something is fundamentally wrong in lost.

The plane crash physics.

Charlie and one other person hit the ceiling, this is wrong as all bodies fall at the same speed. The plane would actually be slowed by friction with the air so although a degree of weightlessness would be felt, they would not fly into the air. UNLESS

The writers got it wrong. OR

The mid section was dragged down under force so fell at a speed greater then that caused by gravity, this could also conceivably tear the nose and tail off!

Discuss.
